About

Hi, I’m Ranmali.

I am a freelance photographer with over five years of experience capturing the world through an authentic, cinematic lens. My journey into photography wasn’t a straight line, but rather an evolution born from a curiosity about the people, places, and wild spaces around me.

Before stepping behind the camera full-time, my world was shaped by logic, structure, and technology. After earning my degree in Computer Science and later completing an MBA, I spent over a decade working in the corporate IT industry as a Project Manager.

During those intense, fast-paced years, photography became my creative escape. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion. As a hobbyist, I spent years refining my eye across multiple genres—from the fleeting, raw energy of street and travel photography to the patience required for wildlife and nature photography. This diverse foundation taught me how to read a room, anticipate a moment, and work under any lighting or environmental condition.

Today, I have turned that lifelong passion into my full-time pursuit. My clients get the best of both worlds: a deeply creative photographer with the organizational DNA of a seasoned IT project manager.

Beyond the lens, I’m a published author of two children’s books focused on the natural world. Learn more.

Whether you are looking for a portrait that feels like you or a professional eye for your next event, I can bring your vision to life. For bookings, collaborations or inquiries, please get in touch via the contact us page.
